Locals Food Hub & Pizza Pub in Frankfort, KY is looking to hire a Marketing Manager who will help us to convey our mission, culture, and purpose as a company to members of our community through digital marketing, social media, special events, community engagement and other communication tools. We are a young and growing company who is driven by a mission to create a positive and lasting impact in the communities in which we operate. We are dedicated to educating the public about the benefits of a strong and vibrant local food system, supporting our hard working food producers and providing better access to nutrient rich local foods for all members of our community, especially the underserved. As we continue to grow our organization, reach and voice, we are also looking to build our team of deeply engaged, extremely talented and thoughtful individuals, who will help us continue to build this local food movement for years to come.   • Compensation:
    • Part-Time $20,800 - 20 hrs a week (includes part time salary benefits package)
    • Full- Time $41,600 - 40 hrs a week (includes full time salary benefits package)

    ■ Full- time requires more hands on work in both stores

  • Remote and On-Site Hybrid Position
  • Must have prior experience in the marketing field

A list of the primary job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage all aspects of Marketing and share the Locals story across all Locals locations and activities.
  • Following established brand guidelines and designing marketing materials using Canva that are used online, in-store, and other applications.
  • Manage a content calendar and consistent presence on social media, including regular posts on Facebook and Instagram, sharing Instagram stories, creating reels and responding daily to direct messages and comments on all social media platforms.
  • Manage all travel sites/ online ordering platforms by creating ad’s and responding to reviews/comments. Sites include, but are not limited to: Yelp, Trip Advisor, Google and Doordash.
  • Working closely with store leadership and teammates to adequately convey our culture and mission to the public, while gathering information regarding specials, events, programs, and relevant happenings at Locals, to be promoted online.
  • Design, write, and schedule weekly newsletters, including a weekly grocery flier and a weekly newsletter detailing relevant stories, specials, and events at Locals.
  • Design signage for both stores.
  • Write and distribute press releases to share relevant information and newsworthy stories to local/regional/statewide media contacts.
  • Maintain the company website utilizing our third party platform to continuously keep information up to date and relevant.
  • Ability to commute to Louisville and Frankfort one day a week for content & meetings with managers/owners.
